Busan-Day 3 (Igidae and The Ocean)

June 8th, 2014 (Tuesday)

Today I walked a trail called Igidae along the beach. The scenery was very picturesque and the trail was very easy to walk. I could see Haeundae from the coastline that the trail went by! After that, we drove back home across Gwangan Bridge. I didn't know that it would be that long! It was 7.4 km (about 4.6 miles). Gwangan Bridge is the longest bridge that spans the ocean in South Korea! The part of the bridge that I see from around apartment is just the part closest to us. For lunch, we went to a famous beef (galbi) restaurant. The food is what Koreans call spit is "waterfalling" down your chin. Later that day, we spent some more time at the beach. I went to look for some crabs over by the rocks near the Westin Chosen Hotel. I didn't find any, but right as I was leaving for the beach, Dad found one right on a rock, where nobody was looking! We gave it to a random kid who was right next to us.

-I stacked prayer stones by the trail.

-Am-so Galbi is the place we went to have lunch.
