Staying At A Hospital

My dad has to get surgery because he has kidney stones. We took him to the hospital and he got prepared for the surgery that was to take place tomorrow. They cut some hole in him so that they could take the stone out during surgery. In the afternoon we saw him and then everyone left except me and my mom. At about 11:00, she left and I had to take care of him. It was pretty hard. I woke up at 12:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 6:00, and I got some sleep till 7:00. The only sleep I got was 1:00 to 3:00 and 4:00 to 7:00. The day before I slept kind of late too. I wasn't tired though. The rest of the time I wasn't awake during the night, I was kind of sleeping, where you just close your eyes and wake up real fast. It was kind of hard to sleep to. I had to empty out the urine and blood bag and the bed was like not even 6 inches off the ground. It was basically a metal rack with a cover. The surgery was supposed to be in the afternoon, but it ended up being in the morning. It finished before lunch. My dad looked pretty busted up. He was okay later in the day though.
