Staying At A Hospital
My dad has to get surgery because he has kidney stones. We took him to the hospital and he got prepared for the surgery that was to take place tomorrow. They cut some hole in him so that they could take the stone out during surgery. In the afternoon we saw him and then everyone left except me and my mom. At about 11:00, she left and I had to take care of him. It was pretty hard. I woke up at 12:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 6:00, and I got some sleep till 7:00. The only sleep I got was 1:00 to 3:00 and 4:00 to 7:00. The day before I slept kind of late too. I wasn't tired though. The rest of the time I wasn't awake during the night, I was kind of sleeping, where you just close your eyes and wake up real fast. It was kind of hard to sleep to. I had to empty out the urine and blood bag and the bed was like not even 6 inches off the ground. It was basically a metal rack with a cover. The surgery was supposed to be in the afternoon, but it ended up being in the morning. It finished before lunch. My dad looked pretty busted up. He was okay later in the day though.
Visiting My Dad's College
July 29th, 2014
My dad attended Korea University in Seoul. Korea University is a private research university and is on the the SKY universities (the three most prestigious universities in Korea; Seoul, Korea, and Yonsei). The campus was really scenic and the older buildings kind of reminded me of the kind of architecture you'd see in a castle, almost gothic.

Incheon China Town
July 27th, 2014
Today my dad's coming back from Chiba, Japan and landing at an airport in Incheon. Today my mom is taking us to China town and we are going to meet a some family friends. My first impression was that everything was so clean and red. The Incheon China town was clean compared to the other ones I've been too. It was new and had a few museums too. After checking the place out, we had some Chinese snacks and bubble tea. I love mango bubble tea, I don't think I've had any other kind in my entire life because that is all I order. We also went to the JJajangMyeon Museum. JJajangMyeon is a noodle dish topped with a thick sauce made of chunjang (a salty black soybean paste), diced pork, and vegetables, and sometimes also seafood. Jjajang is the name of the sauce, which literally means "fried sauce". Myeon (also spelled myun) means noodle. Its a fusion of Chinese and Korea food. The dish is so much better than it sounds. We were going to go to the original place that first made it, but there was a huge line where we had to wait to over 2 hours! My dad showed up and so did our family friends. We ate somewhere else that sold the same stuff, and pretty good too. After that, we hung out at there house, played video games and had some pizza. My friend, Hankook is a week younger than me and his name means "Korea". I've pretty much known him since birth. We were both born in South Carolina. Then I moved to Kansas and then later he moved to Korea, then Florida, then Korea (I think).

Dawn of The Planet of The Apes
July 20th, 2014
NO SPOILERS:
Yet again, I watched another movie in Seoul. This time, it was at my favorite movie theater, the CGV in Gangnam (and yes, that's the Gangnam in Psy's, Gangnam Style). Last time I watched a movie there was two years ago. We watched Madagascar 3 on a special floor where you listen to the movie in Beats by Dr. Dre headphones. This time we just got a regular floor to watch Dawn of The Planet of The Apes (if you ask me, the movie title is extremely redundant). The movie was OK, pretty predictable and like the Lion King. Here's the Dawn of The Planet of The Apes-Rotten Tomatoes Review.

Art Lessons
July 18th, 2014
Today I'm starting art lessons in Sincheon (an area close by my grandparents apartments). The place usually for high school students that are going to major in art. art majors, or adults. The class is 3 hours, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The thing that bothers me is that the class is during lunch hours (10:30-1:30)! So I ended up bringing a snack there almost every single day. Its been a while since Its been a while since I've drawn with a pallet and watercolors, so it took some time to warm-up. So far, I'm enjoying it.

Oak Valley-Day 3 (Leaving)
We checked out out of the hotel, and headed up to Seoul. I'll miss Oak Valley like I missed Busan. Usually it takes 4 hours but it took a little over 2 hours because it was a Sunday morning with absolutely, like no cars (not kidding)! First time ever! I went to my grandpa's office and chilled for the rest of the day.

Oak Valley-Day 2 (Swimming, Karoake, and More)
July 12th, 2014
My cousin's older brother, Michael showed up at midnight yesterday. We went swimming at the pool and then we went back up to the condo and said our farewells to Dad because he's going to Chiba, Japan with some of his students from college on a study abroad kind of thing. Mom is going with him back to Seoul. Later we were going to go bowling, but there was so many people on the waiting list. We ended up going to a karaoke room (no-rae bang). "No-rae" means song and "bang" means room. It was fun until my brother started singing. He's obsessed with Frozen OST. After that at midnight, we ordered some chicken.
